Good to know

Questions, answered

I've never boxed before - can I still come?

Yes. Most of our members started as complete beginners. Beginners Boxing runs every Thursday at 18:00, and BoxFit, circuits and conditioning classes need no experience at all. The coaches will look after you from your first session.

How does the free first session work?

Register for free on LegitFit, book any class or an open gym slot, and just turn up. We don't take card details for the free session, and you don't have to join afterwards.

What should I bring?

Comfortable sportswear, trainers and a water bottle. We lend gloves for your first boxing sessions, so you don't need any kit to get started.

What ages are the youth sessions?

Under-14s boxing starts from age 6, kids BoxFit is for under-14s, and junior amateur boxing is for under-16s. Youth memberships cover school-age young people.

Is there a safeguarding policy for young people?

Yes. FFLY Boxing Club is owned by the charity Fit For Life Youth CIO and operates under its Safeguarding Policy, which you can read in full along with our other club and charity policies.

Do I have to compete?

No. Amateur boxing is there if you want to compete, but most members never do. They come for the fitness, the skills and the community.

Where are you exactly?

151 Freston Road, London W10 6TH - a couple of minutes' walk from Latimer Road station and a short walk from Ladbroke Grove. You'll find us on the ground floor.
